Winter bath + sauna. That is one of my life hacks to promote self care, well-being. In Sweden we do love our winter bath + sauna culture.
I go every week to the place you see here. It’s ten minutes walk from my home.

The contrast of the hot sauna ( + 85 degrees ) and the cold sea water ( +9 degrees today ) is what makes the trick.
The benefits are many. It is re-energising, endorphins kick in, blood circulation gets better, metabolism is enhanced, improved skin health, and so forth. Above all I feel so happy after having had a sauna and a swim.
